another day trip. two museums; one about the importance of wood and woodcraft in central romania, and the other a museum of traditional carved wooden spoons. I was humbled by the items made from wood and the unbelievable details and quality of the woodcarving. The wooden spoon museum was surreal, not only because it housed thousands of carved wooden spoons covering three floors, but also because the lady taking me on a tour explained everything to me in rapid french.
