central romania in the foothills of the bucegi mountains where I spent over a week after losing my wallet in Brașov as i awaited a replacement for my debit card. i had just enough cash on me to buy rice, frozen peas...and wine, of course. it was a very humbling moment in my life, but sinaia and its very friendly folk helped me to reboot before heading to hungary
