Dorna Arini

I stayed in a rural village with a young man and his mother and their cat. The house was traditionally hand-built from wood by the young man's deceased folk artist father. during my stay, the young man also hosted two of his friends from Bucharest, both blind, and their seeing-eye dog, Bony. The blind couple spoke no english, but we conversed in french. We had many traditional meals together as family amid natural surroundings. i often explored the landscape and stumbled upon a magnificent monastery. It was one of my best experiences in romania
